Processing of payments on August 20

Payments in euros
Euro-payments made o Tuesday, August 19 will be sent to the beneficiary’s or correspondent bank according to the following schedule:

  • European (i.e. SEPA) payments received before 4.30 p.m. will be forwarded on the same settlement day. Payments received after 4.30 p.m. will be forwarded to the beneficiary’s bank on August 20.
  • European express payments received before 5.45 p.m. will be forwarded on the same settlement day. Payments received after 5.45 p.m. will be forwarded to the beneficiary’s bank on August 21.
  • Express payments and SEB Group payments will be forwarded on the same settlement day, if made before 3 p.m. Payments received after 3 p.m. will be forwarded on August 21.
  • Urgent payments will be forwarded on the same settlement day, if made before 3 p.m. Payments received after 3 p.m. will be forwarded on August 22.
  • Ordinary payments will be sent to the beneficiary’s and/or correspondent bank on August 22.

Intrabank payments
All intrabank payments made in SEB will generally reach the beneficiary’s account immediately, but not later than within one hour.

Cross-border payments
When making cross-border payments on August 19, kindly consider the value dates assigned to the payments:
Express payments which have reached the bank before 11 a.m. (GBP, RUB), before 1 p.m. (DKK, NOK, LTL and CHF) or before 3 p.m. (EUR and USD) will have a value date as at the settlement date, that is, August 19, 2013.
Urgent payments received before 3 p.m. will have a value date as at the following settlement date, that is, August 21, 2013.

On August 20, 2013 there will be no settlement of cross-border payments.
The value date of express and urgent payments reaching the bank after the cut-off time will be, as above plus one settlement day (that is, August 21 and 22 respectively).

Settlements with domestic and international securities
Securities (shares, bonds and fund units, incl. pension funds) are not settled on August 20.

 

We recommend planning all payments to be made during holidays well in advance and if possible, using intrabank settlement.
